Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Audaz (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through audaz.co.uk and the Audaz members’ network. Contact us at hello@audaz.co for any privacy matter.
2. Data we collect
Account data: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), artist name, profile information and avatar.
Member content: tracks, listings, posts, messages, bookings and other content you upload or create.
Billing data: membership tier and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on Audaz servers.
Connected integrations: if you connect social accounts, Google Drive or similar services, we store the access tokens those services issue, encrypted, and the data those permissions allow us to read.
Usage data: lesson progress, feature usage, log data and device information needed to run and secure the service.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to operate Audaz: providing your membership and entitlements, hosting your content, processing payments, delivering Academy lessons and Brand Builder features, sending transactional emails (such as payment recovery and notifications), providing support, and keeping the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal bases
We process data under: performance of our contract with you (running your membership and the service); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement); consent (marketing emails, optional integrations); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
5. Sharing
We share data only with providers needed to run Audaz: hosting and authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and the official APIs of any integration you connect. Where third-party AI services power features such as Brand Builder analysis, only the content you explicitly submit or that your connected permissions allow is processed, and it is not used to train third-party models. We may disclose data where legally required.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention
We keep account data while your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle payments, disputes and legal obligations. You can delete your account at any time, and we will remove personal data that we are not legally required to keep.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Email hello@audaz.co and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and security, and minimal analytics to understand how the service is used. Connected services such as Meta or TikTok may set their own cookies when you use their features through Audaz.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to members in advance.
